  Chũm Chọe has other names such as Não bạt or Chập chõa. It is an idiophone of Viet majority, and many other ethnic groups in the Central Highlands, Chăm ethnic group, Khơ me ethnic group, and a number of ethnic groups in the Northern mountainous regions.

hũm Chọe còn gọi là Não Bạt, Chập Chõa, là nhạc khí tự thân vang của Dân tộc Việt và nhiều Dân tộc ở Tây Nguyên, Chăm, Khơ me và các Dân tộc ở miền cao nguyên Bắc Bộ.
